J. Cole had an album listening session in NYC yesterday and during it he explained the story behind his Let Nas Down record. Cole gave a 10+ minute story that provides tremendous insight into the inner workings of the music business, competing with artists like Drake, how difficult it was for him to find “the single” for his first album and more.
