Ghostface Killah & Killah Priest Doing A Collaborative Album?

If you would have asked me in the late ’90s for a Top 10 of Hip-Hop’s elite lyricists du jour, it would have been hard not to praise Killah Priest. From the Sunz Of Man’s stellar debut album, to one of the most conceptually-dense LPs of the last 15 years in Heavy Mental, Priest reigned. MCA Records even took notice, and inked one of the GZA proteges for View From The Masada (boasting early Just Blaze production). In the decade since, Priest has become increasingly underground, working with smaller labels and crews on one-offs. That may soon change, as Ghostface Killah recently told the United Kingdom’s Conspiracy Worldwide Radio that the veteran pair is underway on a joint album.

Moreover, The Four Horsemen (Kurupt, Ras Kass, Canibus and Killah Priest) have two albums in the can… (so says Priest).

Run The Jewels (Killer Mike & El-P), Stalley, Dessa (from Doomtree), Willie The Kid and Block McCloud are also guests. This is truly great radio for Heads.
