Moe Green – Still Here
Moe Green has always been effective when he’s taken a popular street song using a contemporary, and then rearranged it on his own. Over three years removed from “Going In For The Kill,” Green reworks Phil Beaudreau’s “Anyway (Interlude)” with producer Atu. The sample was the basis for Casey Veggies’ Life Changes title track. Although it has not been easy for any new Hip-Hop artist coming from the Bay Area post-2000, Moe Green is not only “Still Here,” he’s only getting better.
