Nas Raises Money to Aid Homeless Family (Video)
Nas has had the most incredible 3 week stretch as a brand ambassador for hip-hop that I can ever recall. After having a Harvard Fellowship named after him and appearing on CNN to discuss the enduring effect of racism, he has now started a fund to help Stanley Young, a father of 7 who is now homeless. Here’s a video recap of the story as well as what Nas tweeted about the effort he is leading to raise money for the family. In less than 20 hours, he has already raised $30,000 for the family. Salute to Nas. He has made hip-hop proud.
I was moved by the sad story of Stanley Young-father of 7 now homeless. Help me give his family a miracle: http://t.co/gEGjlb9LRb
