Last October, the friends at Get On Down Records released the trophy box deluxe edition of Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx… in the classic purple cassette tape format. The cases sold out (and were re-sold for hundreds to those who initially slept). Almost a year later, G.O.D. is back just selling the slip-case of the classic 1995 Loud/RCA Records debut by Raekwon The Chef.

On the 18th anniversary of the hip-hop legend, you can own the clear purple plastic tape, as the album was (arguably) meant to be heard for $19.95 (see that?). The reissue comes with a cool purple slipcase like the old maxi-singles. The real artwork (featuring a youthful Ghostface Killah) is also there. Get that holiday shoppin’ poppin’.
