Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – White Walls ft. ScHoolboy Q & Hollis (Video)

Seattle Hip-Hop has been about cars since Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “My Hooptie.” Interestingly enough, on the car (read: Cadillac) anthem from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ The Heist, the duo went really Guns & Roses on the video treatment and enlisted a number of Rap peers, including the “Swass” O.G. This is my favorite record on the album. Word up.

Also appearing are Big Boi, Wiz Khalifa, Trinidad Jame$, A$AP Rocky, DJ Drama and more. Over/under this song (well, ScHoolboy’s verse is a lil’ raw for advertising) appears in a Caddy commercial? GM previously worked with T.I., as you may recall.

Ryan Lewis directed the narrative video about a ’67 convertible gone rogue. Which one is your favorite?

If you want a Caddy-inspired playlist, here’s three more for your sleepy Monday afternoon:

Devin The Dude – “Lacville ’79”

Sleepy Brown – “Me, My Baby & My Cadillac”

Pimp C – “Bought A Cadillac” ft Bun B & Hezeleo
