Taking a page from the great Rickey Henderson, Dom Kennedy makes a song about himself in the third-person. Really, the catchy chorus and dreamy ’80s R&B-inspired cut is all about Dom’s name in other peoples’ mouths. Nice Kurupt interpolation too, “Tryna sign Dom? Nigga, Dom’ll sign you.” Get Home Safely comes in two Tuesdays.
