Like Al Pacino’s devilish monologue, nobody is gonna see Jay Rock coming. The elder statesman of Black Hippy, the first artist of TDE may have gone under the radar a bit with Follow Me Home. However, the Watts native who never seems to say much off the mic, is saying a whole lot in his pinch-hitting this year. Jay hops on Don Cannon’s scorcher for Pusha Ton, “Numbers On The Boards,” and promises to do the same with his impending sophomore LP.
