Although a very simple question, the four words “What You Waitin’ On” come extremely loaded with power. For their latest single, The White Mandingos ask on people to enact change in the world themselves, instead of waiting for politicians or religion to do it for them. The music video for the track also holds no punches, which features Murs spitting thought provoking bars over video clips portraying violence against minorities. Is it an easy watch or listen? Definitely not, but it will make you feel emotion, and it will make you think. And in the end, isn’t that the main point of music anyway?
