ScHoolboy Q Might Be Having Some GQ Fun On His Version Of Man Of The Year (Audio)

It would not be a reach to say that ScHoolboy Q is Hip-Hop’s “Man Of The Year.” However, Quincy’s Oxymoron major label debut is still under wraps, and his Black Hippy buddy Kendrick Lamar likely earned that distinction with the “shot heard ’round the world.” GQ magazine thought so, and there’s been a lot of controversy following his cover story and subsequent missed concert.

From his razzing on Mac Miller on Twitter, to goading Shyne almost two years ago, we all know that “Puffy” loves a good joke. However, with his NBA Live 14 soundtrack cut, it’s either clever planning or sheer happenstance that it’s called “Man Of The Year.” Nevertheless, the song slaps (even at lower volume in this rip), and makes you wanna run the table with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, or one of 2013-2014’s unlikely front-runners.
