A trailer has been released to A Genius Leaves The Hood, The Unauthorized Story Of Jay Z. Not at all endorsed by Jay or Roc Nation, the film features some folks close to Hova’s career. Included are early mentor Jaz-O, mixtape DJ and radio personality Mister Cee, as well as former Def Jam Records A&R and radio icon Bobbito Garcia.

Moguldum Films, who is producing the doc, also featured their Hip-Hop Wired Editor Alvin Blanco, in addition to Zach O’Malley-Greenburg, the Forbes editor who also wrote an unauthorized biography on Jay a few years back. Check the 90 second trailer below:
