Method Man Blesses A$AP Mob With His Iron Lung On Trillmatic (Video)

Hours after Funkmaster Flex liberated the audio, A$AP Mob unveils “Trillmatic.” One of the Mob’s reigning qualities is their ability to blend with a ’90s style—thus employing Onyx, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and B-Real on Ferg’s debut. That aesthetic is true of “Trillmatic,” where big brother Method Man slides in on a cut that knows no year. The video, clearly inspired by “Rap City” specials of the Joe Clair era, fits right in.

Heads looking to find a place in young New York Hip-Hop can look a lil’ closer at these RCA Records hopefuls. Nice & Smooth, Mic Geronimo, and a whole lotta other yesteryear artists are alluded to amongst this joint.
