Blu is the opposite of conventional. The reclusive Los Angeles preacher’s kid bootlegged his own major label album a few years back, he’s reportedly stepped to Nas at a club about a battle, and he’s deliberately recruited U-God above all other members of the Wu. What’s not to love?

Today, impromptu, Blu dropped Soul Amazing (Part One). The Bandcamp project features 44 tracks, largely chopped down, Donuts style. What’s more, Johnson Barnes includes some things core fans have heard, and some things that even the purest of Heads may be new to. You’ll get some exclusive remixes, new joints, and various dabblings with Blu’s homies Miguel, Talib Kweli, Sene, Mainframe, Co$$, Tanya Morgan, and others.
