Want to See the Obamas Rocking to Snoop? Watch His Performance Honoring Herbie Hancock (Video)

Snoop was recently invited to perform during the Kennedy Center Honors to help celebrate the career of the legendary Herbie Hancock. Hancock’s music has played an important role in Hip-Hop, having been sampled by artists like Mobb Deep, N.W.A., 2Pac, Kool G. Rap, Slum Village and countless others. One of the biggest songs was Us3’s Cantaloop. Snoop rocked a bit of that song as well as his own material over a rendition of Cantaloupe Island, from which Cantaloop was sampled. Several luminaries, including the Obamas and Hancock, himself, were feeling it. Check out the video.
