What’s Master P Sounding Like In 2014? He’s Linked With Game’s Producers (Audio)

Early this month, AFH looked at the understated impact Master P and No Limit Records had on Hip-Hop. Moreover, the published essay stresses that P’s influence will ring strong in the road ahead, especially as the onetime mogul plots a comeback. Well, not even two weeks later, P’s giving us all music to consider.

“We Poppin” might sound, by title alone, to be in the traditional No Limit wheel-house. However, P, who calls California (again) home these days, linked with 1500 Or Nothin’. This is the production outfit/band that came to popularity around Game, and since expanded to work with Lupe Fiasco, Casey Veggies, Snoop Dogg, and for some time now, Master P.

This track features Dungeon Family’s second generation star Future, as well as No Limit’s Eastwood (who you may remember as Kurupt’s protege at Death Row Records a decade ago).

What do you think? Is P ageless on the mic?
