Crooked I May Be Rapping Around Top Dollar Toys, But It’s Beatboxing & Bars (Video)

Crooked I is one of those artists who clearly enjoys life’s finer things, but those close listeners to his bars over the years know that he grew up dirt poor, and relived struggled throughout the high’s and low’s of his extensive career. From last year’s Apex Predator, Crook tells all on “Sumthin From Nuthin.”

The video features the Slaughterhouse MC surrounded by Benzes, Bentleys, and other six-figure means of transportation (as well as an assortment of beautiful women). But if you listen close to the song, it’s not even about that, as Crook kicks his linguistics over a multi-tracked beat-box backdrop. Some cool juxtaposition here from a rapper who never stops thinking.
