The song features ominous piano chords and razor-sharp lyrics about Q’s grind to make a better life for himself and his daughter, by hook or by crook. The video plays like a day in Q’s life and the contrast of his icy cold lyrics with the warmth and affection he shows his daughter is stark. This feels visceral, gritty and real–as art should be.
