Pro Era Uncovers Unreleased Music From The Late Capital STEEZ (Audio)

Retro samples from MF Doom’s “?” and retro flows from the late Capital STEEZ and Jakk Tha Rhymer, who began their rapping careers as the group 3rd Kind in 2009, hit the airwaves in the form of the track, “Shooting Stars.”

STEEZ’s bars have been cleaned up for the single, but were originally seen a few months before his passing in a Pro Era cypher filmed at New York’s Ethik Pop Up Shop (0:50). STEEZ and the rest of the P.E. team set up the event in April 2012 to celebrate and listen to the release of STEEZ’s first mixtape, Amerikkkan Korruption.

Now, while we wait for his posthumous album, King Capital, we can continue the celebration of STEEZ, his life, and even his birthday (he would have been 21 yesterday, July 8) through his words and his music.

RIP Capital STEEZ
