With Blacc Hollywood, Wiz Khalifa is out to make a very specific, stylized album. Once a “Black & Yellow” Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania star, Wiz has found uber-success since moving to the land of the palm trees, finding a celebrity partner in Amber Rose, and making albums with his Big Homie, Snoop Dogg.

A single from the LP, “You And Your Friends,” takes the idea that Puff Daddy kicked on “Big Poppa,” and makes a theme out of it. Friends can get with friends, whether that’s for business and pleasure. Produced by DJ Mustard, with an especially ’80s-inspired drum kit on this one (Axel Foley might be proud), Wiz’s friends also include Snoop and Taylor Gang breakthrough Ty Dolla $ign. The results are quite pleasing, and Wiz may have another surefire Summer party record, from a source of carefree good times, and that Hollywood swingin’:
