With Vintage Footage, Rittz Chronicles His Lifelong Love Affair With Rap (Video)

Rittz had a dream of being a professional rapper. While the Strange Music artist and onetime Yelawolf-backed MC has met his dream, the Atlanta native cannot forget the taboo and resistance he once faced for being a “white rapper.” In the song, released earlier this week, Rittz tells his story.

For the video, from Next To Nothing (September 9), Rittz shows it—with archival footage from a totally different looking MC kicking his nouns and verbs. On the Strange sound-stage for the visual’s main components, it sure seems like the guy influenced by Rap-A-Lot Records’ 5th Ward Boyz is living the dream…
