Boys Noize has been making just that for years. The German DJ and French DJ Chilly Gonzalez have formed a smooth side project in Octave Minds. The pair welcomes in Chance The Rapper for “Tap Dance.”

Sounding like an #AcidRap holdover, this song allows Chance’s careful lyricism to sparkle on a jazzy-yet-electric beat. Chance improvises in the moment, as he does so well, and makes the song have dance appeal, which plays a hand in the title.
