MC Serch Is Selling His 25-Year Sneaker Collection…For The Price Of A Porsche

So many Hip-Hop stars of yesteryear were freshly dressed. MC Serch is no exception, as the 3rd Bass MC/producer had that “Brooklyn-Queens” style from the fade, to the baseball jerseys, of course, to the kicks. That last part as it were, Serch’s sneaker collection is now up for sale by the MC-turned-record executive-turned-radio personality-talk show host.

ego trip reports that the onetime executive of Wild Pitch Records (Ultramagnetic MC’s, The Coup, Main Source) and his own Serch Lite imprint (Nas, O.C.) is peddling upwards of 300 pairs of dead-stock rarities, many dating back to the Reagan Era.

Serch’s own site has a mosaic of just what the collection includes, featuring photos of items, boxes, and sizes (12, if you’re game). Apparently, some of these items, promotionals, were never released to public.

So what is the Rockaway, Queens MC hoping to get for 300+ boxes of kicks? $75,000—the price of a luxury car.

If you feel like ponying up, there’s more info on the Serch site.
