Rolling Stone reports that the collaboration is of the rare, 1998 box set cut “What’s My Name” by Prince (K-Dot was 11 years old). Kendrick simply added a verse. Just one of those “had to be there” moments that Prince has been big on throughout the last 35 years. Certainly, Lamar’s bars sound like this is much more than a matter of fact pairing…
