The song notably swacked the basis of the beat to The Firm’s “Phone Tap,” made by Rae’s friends and collaborators Nas, AZ, Dr. Dre, Nature, and Foxy Brown back on Aftermath Entertainment’s burgeoning 1997 run.

Rae’s verse (albeit very brief) sounds straight outta The Lex Diamond Story, in the nicest way possible.
