In the late 2014 canon of Raekwon #TBTs (now 18 of them), this remixed rendition of Mary J. Blige’s “Mary Jane (All Night Long)” just might be the most fitting. Released 20 years ago next month from My Life, the Puff Daddy & Chucky Thompson-produced cut was in itself a nod to The Mary Jane Girls’ 1983 jam, with some other samples splashed in.

For the record about tireless lovin’, Raekwon drops in a verse about West Coast getaways, that good stuff, and spoiling the apple of his eye.

Some of the best things of that ’94-’95 come together 20 years later, and it just feels great.
