Nearly two years ago, Kool G. Rap, Large Professor and Big Noyd released “Naturally Born” as part of Coalmine Records’ Unearthed compilation. The track, which was produced by Ayatollah, featured a soulful sample and strong verses from each of the veteran wordsmiths. Now, Cookin’ Soul, the production duo known for concocting soulful productions and remixes like Nas’ Soulmatic, has remixed the track. They’ve departed from their name a bit by introducing a 90’s style Jazz loop and some SERIOUS boom bap drums. This is a complete re-imagination of an already dope track and it gives it new life.
