DJ Spinna & J. Rocc Cross The Coasts In 2 Separate ’90s Mixes (Audio)

Two veteran masters of the mix are DJ Spinna and J. Rocc. AFH’s faithful are quite familiar with J. Rocc, the SoCal spinner who is part of JayLib, The Beat Junkies, and a frequent affiliate with Stones Throw Records. Across the country, in the borough of Brooklyn, DJ Spinna was a resident of The Jigmastas and Poly Rhythm Addicts, an artist who’s played a heavy hand in the careers of Eminem, Homeboy Sandman, and J-Live.

These two titans of the turntable teamed up to make a mix, with each DJ looking to the other’s coast to make nearly two hours (in total) of 1990s Hip-Hop featuring the likes of MC Eiht, Raekwon, Tha Luniz, Sam Sneed, Heltah Skeltah, X-Clan, Cypress Hill and more. In touching some of Hip-Hop’s finest flows, best beats, and heralded eras, this two-part mix is everything.
