Fashionably Late Into 2014, Fashawn & Alchemist Give Up Some Goods (FreEP)

Just over one week after Fashawn & Alchemist hinted at their “Dreams,” the FASH-ionably Late EP is here. 2014 was a game-changing year for the Fresno, California MC—even if he did not drop an album. Secured at what is now is Mass Appeal Records, Fash’ went from making an Ode To Illmatic to having the man who made Illmatic on his team.

2015 will likely Fash’s studio sophomore album, The Ecology, while he bids adieu to 2-0-1-4 with seven free songs, all produced by Alchemist. While DJ Exile notably produced 2009’s Boy Meets World, that same year Fash’ teamed with ALC for The Antidote. This Mass Appeal/Decon reunion is strong, with Stepbrother Evidence also a guest at the party:

Should this affect some last minute year-end lists?
