Chali 2na Shoots, Directs & Edits A New Visual With The Same Old Dazzling Flow (Video)

While he is a Los Angeles Hip-Hop mainstay, Chali 2na hails from the streets of Chicago, Illinois. You can hear that in “Stand Up,” where the Jurassic 5/Ozomatli MC uses a pinball-like delivery of compound rhymes to state his place in Rap. The beat and the flow takes a shape-shift in the middle of the song to boot.

A single from 2na Fish’s latest EP, Against The Current (EP.2) – Manphibian Music, this video was shot, directed, and even edited by the onetime Interscope Records (and later Decon) artist. The song is about staying the course of your purpose, whether in the streets or in the culture.

After 2014’s tour with Dilated Peoples and The Beat Junkies, many Heads are speculating that the fully-reunited J5 has another album in the chamber.
