Master P’s recent collaboration with Lil Wayne on “Power” set the Internet on fire. The song featuring the two legendary MCs who helped put the South on the map was historic in its own right. However, given Lil Wayne’s very public dissatisfaction with Cash Records as of late, their working together also set off speculation that it might represent something bigger than just a guest verse on a song.

Master P recently visited the Sway in the Morning show and addressed the rumors head on. He spoke about whether he was trying to sign Wayne to No Limit and any potential concerns he might have about ruffling relations between No Limit and Cash Money. He spoke with class and candor.
