Stacy Barthe is a supremely talented vocalist and songwriter. While she might not be a household name (yet), she has written songs for some of the biggest artists in the world, including Rihanna, Kelly Rowland, Britney Spears and Katie Perry. She’s also worked with the likes of Melanie Fiona, Akon and Brandy. Don’t let her Pop pedigree fool you though. She has one of the most deeply soulful voices this side of India.Arie and her personal music has been widely-varied from R&B to Reggae.

The regal vocalist is now signed to John Legend’s Homeschool Records and she is readying a full length album, BEcoming, which will be released in March. The latest offering from the project is the sultry “Live for Today,” featuring oft John Legend collaborator, Common. Check it out.
