Gang Starr Heads know all about Big Shug. A member of the Gang Starr Foundation, the Boston, Massachusetts-based MC would appear on all of Guru & DJ Premier’s albums from Hard To Earn through The Ownerz. Hard-nosed, fly, and wise, Shug paid dues in the wings for years, before becoming a staple of the Gang Starr Foundation.

Since 2005, Shug has laid out a respectable solo career. His sixth release, Triple OGuz, is planned for March 3 release on Brick Records (Statik Selektah, REKS, CZARFACE).
