Freddie Gibbs Drops 3 Songs At Once & He’s Focused On His Quality (EP Stream)

Freddie Gibbs released two albums in 2014. The Gary, Indiana MC grabbed acclaim and a Top 40 chart foothold on his Madlib tandem, Pinata. The MC followed, less than two months later, with The Tonite Show. Like his flow, Gangsta Gibbs likes to move fast in a career that’s made up for lost time after years of delays in the mid-2000s.

Although slowing Freddie down may be impossible, the ESGN front man seems focused on keeping his quality aligned with his quantity. He raises the ante in ’15 with Pronto. Billed as an EP, the three-song package maintains some cohesion in theme and style. Moreover, Freddie’s not wasting words in getting his message out about being hard to the core, and real as it gets every time he glances in the mirror.

Lifestyles Of The Insane is planned for later this year.
