Inspectah Deck, Esoteric & Meyhem Lauren Flash The CZARFACE Signal (Audio)

It was more than two years ago that CZARFACE was born. Part group, part album, the Brick Records effort linked Wu-Tang Clan member Inspectah Deck with Boston, Massachusetts underground Hip-Hop veterans 7L & Esoteric for what would be a career-defining work.

Featuring involvement from Ghostface Killah, DJ Premier, and Action Bronson, the effort would successfully sell out its original pressing of CDs, sell out its corresponding vinyl dolls, and be a return to form for Rebel INS, as well as a proper spotlight on 7L & Eso, after years of strong album-making and Army Of The Pharaohs work.

As alluded to following the original album’s campaign, another CZARFACE album is upon us. Details still forthcoming, the crew released “Deadly Class,” which hands the opening verse off the Bronson’s right-hand Outdoorsman, Meyhem Lauren. Deck and Esoteric follow, with that locked-in flow, simile-driven wordplay, and uncompromising confidence.

If you feel it, the crew put it on iTunes.

Think the CZAR’s can do it again?
