At a time when bragging is really in vogue for a lot of artists, Oddisee refrains. Leading up to The Good Fight (May 5), the Diamond District co-founder uses “Belong To The World” to look within, and reflect on how being different is not only refreshing, but largely responsible for his continued growth and enhanced success.

From every indication, this Mello Music Group LP (which features Gary Clark, Jr.) stands to be the perfect intersection of Oddy’s long-championed production, with some deeply thoughtful, highly-potent thought in the lyrical half of the LP.
