Spit Gemz is one of Hip Hop’s rising rugged Rap voices. In his track “Legacy,” he teams up with veteran supreme lyricist Kool G Rap to deliver some of that classic New York under-belly flavor. The two MCs both represent Queens, but it’s not the only thing they have in common. Both demonstrate the masterful ability of being able to combine witty wordplay with explicit monologue in a way that seemingly only a New Yorker can.

Legacy is the latest release from Spit Gemz’ newly-released album, Godly Features. While the album is a clear display of his own skillful abilities, it’s got appearances from other noteworthy lyricists like Tragedy Khadafi, Starvin B and more.
