Kendrick Lamar & Ty Dolla $ign Show Some Dramatic California Love (Audio)

UPDATE: While the May 26, 2015 demo version of Ty Dolla $ign’s “L.A.” was pulled from the Internet, it now reappears in November. Presently tagged by Big Boy’s Neighborhood (and posted below), the upcoming audio is expected to follow.

If you were to take the musings behind Tupac and Val Young’s “To Live & Die In L.A.” and the message in Rihanna and Calvin Harris’ “We Found Love,” and slap them together, you might get Ty Dolla $ign and Kendrick Lamar’s “L.A.”

The two Los Angelinos make a slow-rolling anthem that captures the expansive lights seen flying into LAX at night. However, both 2010s Rap stars spotlight those exits off of the 110 that not everybody goes. Tupac is absolutely on Kendrick’s mind, with multiple references across the verse. Ty captures the zeitgeist of the current Southern California party life, as these men embody the city’s history, and add to its legacy at the same time.

This is presumably a demo version to a Free TC inclusion.
