Styles P Shows His Love for the West Coast on His Latest Freestyle (Audio)

In a game where MC’s regularly stick their necks out to prove their talents to the rest of the competition, Hip-Hop can be an unforgiving, constant grind. Styles P is one of those MCs who has stood the test of time and continues to drop quality lyricism as a potent, raw rhymesayer in 2015. Styles, who has recently unloaded a host of double cut releases freestyling over the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Redman, and J Dilla, has released two more to add to the vault.

For the opening act, “Pioneered This,” Styles puts his words to work, praising his shine over others’ swag as one of Hip-Hop’s vanguards.

On “Killa,” Styles slows things down, and shows some love to the West Coast. Flowing over Nipsey Hussle’s “Killa” from the stellar Mailbox Money mixtape, Styles settles into a decidedly Left Coast flow while he sings the praises of the region. Near the end, Styles says “The Ghost is back.” Do you believe it?
