From Big L and O.C. to Meyhem Lauren and Beanie Sigel, Buckwild is gifted in helping artists assemble their debut projects. The Bronx, New York native and non-rapping member of D.I.T.C. is a master of combining sampling, melody, with a balance for streets and crossover airplay.

A native of Lagos, Nigeria, Buck’ takes on DanO—an emerging MC who first caught noise from YouTube freestyles. Now, from his Verse & Hooks 3 album, DanO teams with Buckwild for “Paradise.” Featuring Jack Tangney, the song fuses many genres with melody, instrumentation, and a lot of sonic flare. This is more akin to something heard on recent Roots albums than the music DanO’s released online previously.
