Waka Flocka Flame is underrated as a spitter. Though he burst on the scene with party-starters, like “No Hands,” that showcased a more simplistic MC style, he released a mixtape and several tracks in 2014 where he truly went hard in the paint, lyrically.

Now, in a moment that is no doubt opportunistic, he takes the “R.I.C.O.” beat that has been the source of an all-out war between Meek Mill and Drake, and goes in. Along the way, he spits a few lines that might be taken as jabs at both Meek and Drake, such as “I’m asking these rappers ‘do you ask your b*tch for permission to sit down and piss?’,” “they tweetin’ and talkin’, dissin’ and blockin’, try me in July, you’ll be missing in August” and “you soft as that pillow you talkin’ on.” Whether he’s capitalizing on the current social media frenzy du jour or not, it’s a strong showing for Flocaveli.
