Here Is a Previously Unreleased Sean Price Cypher & A Way to Help His Family (Video)

As the Hip-Hop world still processes the shocking and tragic loss of Sean Price over the weekend, tributes to the Heltah Skeltah co-founder, Boot Camp Clik member and all-around dope MC, are starting to surface. Sean P has already been immortalized by a mural in his hometown of Brooklyn by artist MeresOne, and now Boiler Room has posted previously unreleased footage of a Tragedy Khadafi cypher in which Sean lays a vintage gritty and clever verse. He grabs the mic at the 1:22 mark and surrenders it only after dropping some flames and barking his trademark “P.”

Duck Down Music, Price’s record label home since 1996, has created a crowd-funding page to help support Sean’s family in this difficult time. The goal is to raise $50,000 and a little over $13,000 has been donated, so far. If Sean’s music has enriched your life over the years or you’d simply like to help a family in need, please visit the page and donate whatever amount you are able.
