UPDATE: TMZ has obtained exclusive information surrounding Action Bronson’s October 28 hospitalization. As the MC/web personality is currently recovering, TMZ.com reports that he consumed whale blubber and raw caribou, among other foods, prior to his emergency hospital trip. However, a spokesman for Bronson did not provide a cause for the hospitalization.

On his web series, “F*ck, That’s Delicious,” Bronson, a onetime professional cook, eats regional delicacies and specialty fare while traveling the globe. Presumably, the foods were part of his Alaskan segment duties, as indicated by a October 26 Action tweet:

Don’t ever knock someone else’s heritage and what they eat just because it’s not familiar to you. Native people live off the land, try it.

The rep also told TMZ that the MC is in “good” condition, following surgery.

Action Bronson revealed that he has undergone “emergency surgery.” The Queens, New York native was taken to a hospital while touring Alaska, where he was reportedly filming Vice video series, “F*ck, That’s Delicious.” Bronson posted a photo of him recovering from the undisclosed surgery. The Vice/Warner Bros. Records artist is the latest Hip-Hop personality to suffer a public health concern. Scarface was hospitalized during the Geto Boys Summer 2015 tour, forcing him to be transported to a Houston, Texas facility. Prior, in February, Death Row Records co-founder Suge Knight was hospitalized during a court room appearance, after experiencing chest pains.

Earlier this year, Action Bronson released his highest-charting release to date, Mr. Wonderful.

This is Bronson’s first publicized hospitalization.
