DJ Premier Remixes A Termanology Standout, Featuring Sean Price, Lil Fame & More (Audio)

Termanology has released a new EP, Term Brady. The Lawrence, Massachusetts native has released a combined 11 LPs and EPs in the last nine years, including collaborative work with 1982 partner Statik Selektah, as well as a celebrated project with M.O.P.’s Lil Fame. There have been 12 more mixtapes in that less-than-decade period in Term’s seemingly ceaseless output of music. Along the way, Term’ has worked with Pete Rock, Bun B, Havoc, Large Professor, Buckwild, and a host of others.

Like EP namesake Tom Brady, Termanology is out to win championships, regardless of the draft. A new mix of “Get Off The Ground” aims to be the tipping point. Teaming up with DJ Premier, who made his own mix of the 2012 Snowgoons uber-collaboration (which has scored nearly 2 million YouTube views), Term’ marches down the field. The late Sean Price (and onetime protege Ruste Juxx) is featured, bringing additional attention to his Snowgoons verse, along with fellow ShowOff affiliates REKS, Lil Fame, and Papoose. Gang Starr Foundation affiliation Hannibal Staxx (f/k/a H. Staxx) and Justin Tyme are also on the more than seven minutes of brutal bars.

Preemo was instrumental in making the digital world pay close attention to the fast-rapping New England MC in the mid-2000s. Has he done it all over again?
