Tracy Morgan’s SNL Return Is A Special TV Moment. Watch The Full Episode (Video)

Last night, into early this morning (October 18), Tracy Morgan returned to host “SNL” (f/k/a “Saturday Night Live”). The highly-successful cast alum returned to the storied NBC live sketch comedy show a year removed from an auto accident. The June 2014 incident on the New Jersey Turnpike took the life of friend and fellow comedian James McNair, and nearly cost Morgan his own, resulting in a major lawsuit.

Morgan’s “SNL” hosting cemented a return to the public eye. The NBC mainstay was joined by his “30 Rock” cast, including fellow “SNL” alum Tina Fey, as well as famed guest-star and host Alec Baldwin. While on set, Morgan did reprise several of his beloved characters from his 1996-2003 spot, including “Brian Fellows.”

Larry David, of “Seinfeld” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” fame, assisted Tracy in the opening. David was briefly writer for the show, in its 1980s “Saturday Night Live” days, where he would work with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, years before “Seinfeld.”

Last week, Morgan made an impromptu stand-up comedy appearance in New York City.
