And Then There Was A Never Released DMX Track…Ain’t Nowhere To Hide (Audio)

Dame Grease has produced tracks on every single one of DMX’s albums. Dark Man X’s longtime collaborator produced the majority of tracks on It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot, including perennial bangers like “Get At Me Dog” and “Stop Being Greedy,” as well as songs on later albums, such as “D-X-L (Hard White)” and “We ‘Bout to Blow.” Now, Grease has unlocked the vault and pulled out a never before released X track.

“Ain’t Nowhere To Hide” features hard drums, a high synth and Earl’s trademark ad libs (“What!?”). As the title suggests, X’s growling verses hone in on how his bite is actually far worse than his bark. He talks about being in and out of jail, being ready to right after he gets offstage, and the general pain he will inflict on those who cross him.

Take a listen.
