Bishop Nehru Brings MC’ing Back To The Park In This Cool Video

Bishop Nehru, as a teenager, grasped so much of the greatness surrounding mid-1990s Hip-Hop. The MC from Rockland County, New York seemingly has more in common with acts like The Arsonists, The Juggernauts, and The Artifacts than he does with his own peer-group. Maybe that’s why his work with MF DOOM made so much sense.

“MansSin” is a great return to form for Bishy. Joined by Que Hampton, the two MCs hit the wooded areas of a park, create a 1970s film camera effect, and spit bars with precision. As the title shows, the song and the video allude to serial killer Charles Manson, who could lead followers even from behind bars. The cult leader and his thoughts are shown in the intercuts of the music video.

These are rappers who enjoy Rap, and eat, sleep, breathe it.
