Chris Rivers’ & Sheek Louch’s I Got It Made Video Salutes Many More Legends Than Just Special Ed

Over the Summer, Chris Rivers released a slew of sizzling freestyles featuring both original and throwback tracks. Out of many quality offerings, one stood out in particular. The son of Big Pun teamed with one of his father’s contemporaries in The LOX’s Sheek Louch. Together, Chris and Donnie put on a lyrical clinic over Special Ed’s classic, “I Got It Made.” Now, the two have released a video for the song, and it salutes many more than just the Profile artist from whom they borrowed the song.

The visual begins with a child picking up an old school toy projector. When he looks inside, he’s taken into a throwback world which features Rivers and Louch going to work on the song. As Rivers raps, images of Big L, Tupac, A Tribe Called Quest, Outkast, ONYX, N.W.A., LL Cool J, Pun and many more legends appear behind him. In a comical, but accurate moment during Rivers’ second verse, his microphone is literally on fire. As Sheek spits his piece, the D-Block flag flies proudly behind him. Take a look.
