Macaulay Culkin Spoofs Home Alone…By Channeling Reservoir Dogs. (Video)

Film Home Alone has become a holiday classic. The John Hughes-directed Macaulay Culkin franchise is full of elaborate pranks, family-friendly humor, and always a feel-good takeaway. After multiple films (two starring Culkin), several scenes, lines, and Wet Bandits pitfalls are etched in the hearts of generations.

Twenty five years later, whatever became of protagonist Kevin McCallister? How does a boy who escapes criminals twice get into adulthood? Filmmaker Jack Dishel has some fun with that answer. In a parody called “Just Me In The House By Myself,” Culkin reprises his Kevin role, riding shotgun with Dischel. While some of the traits are there for the Chicago, Illinois native, Heads will see that little Kevin has grown up to have some new issues at bay. “Getting even” in 2015 has gotten a lot more sinister. Fans of Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs will likely appreciate this nod:
