See Why Anderson .Paak Has Co-Signs from Dre, Premier, 9th Wonder, Madlib & More (Video)

As Anderson .Paak continues his unstoppable rise to much deserved and overdue acclaim, there’s an aspect to his multi-dimensional range of talents that many folks have yet to see, and that’s his live performance. Appearances on some of the year’s biggest records – namely Dr. Dre’s Compton and the Game’s The Documentary 2.5 – the Los Angeles artist has already proven several times over that his singing, songwriting, and rapping skills make him a future superstar, and now Stones Throw has released a video proving .Paak’s live vocals are not too shabby, either. In fact, they are incredible.

As a promotional tool for .Paak’s work with Knxwledge (the two record and perform as Nx Worries), the legendary indie label has released an in-studio performance of “Link Up,” the lead single from the duo’s Link Up & Suede E.P., now available from Stones Throw. In the video below, the two get fonky in the Dungeon of the label’s HQs, and we dare you not to feel the music take over your spirit. Press play, and prepare for .Paak’s upcoming solo album Malibu, slated to change the game on January 15, 2016.
