The Game Returns The Favor & Joins Anderson .Paak on a Jazz-Infused New Banger (Audio)

After working with both DJ Premier and Dr. Dre this year, Anderson .Paak joined The Game on The Documentary 2.5, laying down soulful vocals on the album’s opening 2 tracks, “Magnus Carlsen” and “Crenshaw / 80s and Cocaine.” Since then, the singer, who has become one of the hottest new artists of the year, has worked with 9th Wonder, Rapsody, ScHoolboy Q, Madlib and more, many of whom will be featured on his upcoming album Malibu, which hits stores on January 15, 2016.

Now, .Paak releases his latest song, “Room In Here,” and Game returns the favor, laying down a verse alongside Sonyae Elise, the track’s other featured vocalist. The song sports a throwback Jazz loop, heavy drums and a muted out bassline. As is typically the case, .Paak’s velvety rasp pulls all the elements together into a flavorful stew. Take a listen.
